Taylor has extensive teaching experience, and is passionate about creating opportunities for students. Below are a few of his educational endeavors: 

Percussion Pal

Taylor is in the process of launching an online percussion community called Percussion Pal. The core of this project is a desire to create quality resources for music educators in the field. This site will cover all aspects of percussion including basic technical concepts, maintenance and tuning guidelines, and early repertoire performance and explanation. Expected launch date is Fall 2018.

Private Lessons

One-on-one instruction related to furthering a student's understanding of technique, repertoire, musicality, and more. These lessons are often formatted in a way to augment the instruction students may be receiving in their school music programs.

Master Classes

Similar to a private lesson, but students perform solo or ensemble repertoire and receive feedback in front of their peers and colleagues. Master classes are an effective way to provide performance opportunities for students and promotes group learning.

Group Instruction

This is a more open-ended educational offering and could include group lessons, percussion ensemble coaching, and drumline clinicing. Often times this takes place over multiple days, allowing maximum interaction and learning between Mr. Davis and the students.
